What customers say?

“ I used to frequent this restaurant often about 20 years ago, but now that my children are independent, I have no reason to head to Deaibashi, so it's been a while since I last went. The black pork loin cutlet was my staple. I also enjoyed occasionally getting a black pork cutlet sandwich to take home. I'd like to visit again if I'm in the area. ”

“ I visited here the other day for a late lunch. The interior was comfortable, with ample seating space between each seat. It seemed like a safe place to visit even during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I wish I'd known about it sooner. The staff who served me were also very polite and kind, and I felt at ease. ︎︎ What really shocked me was the deliciousness of their minced meat cutlet (called minced meat cutlet here). I'm not a big fan of minced meat cutlet, but when I tried it on the lunch menu, it was so delicious. I even thought the minced meat cutlet I'd had before wasn't really minced meat cutlet at all, lol. The standard cutlet was soft and delicious, and I could tell they were using fresh ingredients and preparing them carefully. I'll definitely visit again. ”

“ I had the Kirishima Kurobuta pork loin cutlet set meal. The meat was thick and delicious. There is a wait from around 6pm, so I recommend going earlier. ”

“ It's been around for a while, but this was my first time there. It has a retro, Showa-era feel to it. There's ample parking, the restaurant is quite spacious, and there's a decent amount of seating. You can choose from white rice, barley rice, or brown rice, and you can have as much rice and cabbage as you want! The person I went with wanted grated yam rice, so they said they hope grated yam will be brought back! ! Thanks in advance! The tonkatsu was freshly fried and crispy, but I personally wish the batter was a little thinner. The chawanmushi was steamed just right, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious! ! ”

“ It is no exaggeration to say that Ehime's tonkatsu culture began with Katsuretsu-tei. The special pork loin cutlet bowl is an exquisite dish of freshly fried pork cutlet and soft-boiled egg, perfectly combined with rice in broth. It's perfect. The furnishings casually displayed in the restaurant are all historic, making it a sight to behold, unique to the Deaibashi branch. Thank you for the meal! ”

“ I had the katsudon and chicken cutlet set meal! The crispy batter and tender chicken cutlet were absolutely delicious. The katsudon was also delicious, with the umami of the pork cutlet and the rich dashi broth, and the sweetness was just right. My friend was also very satisfied. ”

“ I went to Matsuyama today For lunch, I went to Katsuretsu-tei I ordered the deep-fried fillet set meal. You can choose from white rice, barley rice, or brown rice, but they don't serve brown rice during New Year's, so I went with the barley rice. As the menu name suggests, this is a fairly thick fillet cutlet. The batter was crispy, and the meat was very tender and delicious. This is a restaurant I remember occasionally going to with my family for a little luxury meal when I was little, and it brought back some nostalgic memories after a long time. It was quite good. Thank you for the meal (*´∀`*) ”
